WSDOT is currently seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer within the Information Technology Division (ITD). The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer serves as the agency’s senior technical expert and safeguards the confidentiality, integrity, and availability for WSDOT data and systems. This position applies advanced technical knowledge and skills to independently administer and monitor the agency’s Cybersecurity Program. They use their situational leadership skills to identify, recommend, and implement cybersecurity solutions for all aspects of the organization. This vital position works closely with all agency staff, vendors, and other government entities to ensure effective communication, the directing of workgroups, and leading cybersecurity initiatives.
