Our boutique law firm is expanding and seeking to hire a full-time associate attorney who specializes in Commercial Litigation and/or General Civil Litigation. We operate a highly collaborative office in which each professional helps one another to ensure all of our clients receive the best possible service.

Responsibilities of the associate attorney include, but are not limited to, drafting and arguing motions, responding to motions, handling discovery, evidentiary hearings and trials, conducting depositions, providing legal guidance and support, attending mediations, and negotiating settlements. You must be assertive, self-motivated, ability to work efficiently and effectively on your own, be a critical thinker, possess strong oral advocacy skills, be an effective writer, have excellent organizational and time-management skills and be tech-savvy. Must be a team player.

Experience: 5+ years handling Commercial Litigation and/or General Civil Litigation cases are a required. Applicants who are versed in additional areas will be strongly considered.

The ideal candidate would be someone who does not own and operate their own firm, who prefers not to deal with the business side of things but enjoys working the cases as an employee.

MUST be a member of the Florida Bar and in good standing. Salary commensurate with experience, with opportunity for bonuses and/or to become a full-time associate with the firm.
