Description

Syngenta Production and Supply Development Program

The Production and Supply Development Program (PSDP) is a 21/2 to 3 year-long rotational development program that provides recent college graduates the opportunity to immerse themselves in various areas of the business and build a solid foundation for a lasting career with our Production and Supply team.

As a PSDP associate, you will be in one of three tracks: Seeds, Operations or Engineering. Within your chosen track, you will select three diverse rotations where you will:

  • Gain technical knowledge through day-to-day work
  • Sharpen leadership skills through training activities and professional events
  • Broaden your knowledge and develop a network in at least three different areas of the business
  • Develop lasting comradery with fellow PSDP associates

Engineering Track

Degrees of Interest Include: Chemical Engineering

Locations Include but Not Limited To:

  • Louisiana: St. Gabriel
  • Nebraska: Omaha
  • North Carolina: Greensboro

Post-Program Full-Time Positions: Process Engineer, Project Engineer, Tolling Production Manager, Formulation Engineer and Production Engineer

Rotation Options: Production/Process Engineering, Toll-Manufacturing Supervision, Technology and Engineering, Capital Projects and Design

Supply Operations Track

Degrees of Interest Include: Supply Chain Operations, Logistics and Business-related majors

Locations Include but Not Limited To:

  • Louisiana: St. Gabriel
  • Nebraska: Omaha
  • North Carolina: Greensboro

Post-Program Full-Time Positions: Supply Chain Planner, Procurement Manager, Asset Planner, Category Manager and Inventory Planner

Rotation Options: Logistics, Planning, Procurement

Seeds Operations & Production Track

Degrees of Interest Include: Agronomy, Agricultural Business, Agricultural Systems Technology, Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Studies, Plant or Crop Science and other agricultural-related majors

Locations Include but Not Limited To:

  • California: Glenn, Woodland
  • Idaho: Nampa
  • Illinois: Tuscola, Downers Grove
  • Iowa: Des Moines, Jefferson, Lone Tree, Slater, Ames
  • Nebraska: Seward, Waterloo
  • Washington: Pasco

Post-Program Full-Time Positions: Agronomist, Plant Operations Lead, Seeds Production Research Scientist, Supply/Demand Planner and Seed Conditioning Specialist

Rotation Options: Production Agronomy, Seed Production Research, Seed Plant Operations, Seed Planning, Capital Projects

Qualifications

Are you a recent graduate or upcoming college graduate with demonstrated leadership experience? Are you a self-starter who takes initiative? Are you a good communicator? These are just a few of the qualifications we are looking for in our applicants.

Education

  • Minimum of a 3.0 GPA
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant course of study (Agronomy, Agricultural Business, Supply Chain Management, Chemical Engineering, etc.)

Cultural Skills and Experience

  • Relevant internship experiences
  • Willing to relocate
  • Personal brand and self-awareness
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
