Join the field of Correctional Health Dental Services! Correctional health dentists work autonomously to provide health care to an underserved population in a secure environment. Dentists are involved in diverse dental services including oral surgery, restorative, endodontics, removable prosthetics. Dental Services are provided in Correctional Health dental clinic with electronic health records and digital radiography.
Hours worked in this position is negotiable, typically 32 hours per week.
This position will be located in either Sioux Falls or Rapid City.

Licenses and Certifications:
Licensed or eligible to be licensed by the SD Board of Dentistry
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A desire to provide basic, essential dental care to a population with significant needs.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- human anatomy, oral disease processes, and comprehensive knowledge of dentistry;
- properly use all dentistry tools and equipment;
- work as a team with other dental professionals and provide advice and instruction regarding oral hygiene.
