Schneider Electric has several opportunities in our Schneider Development Program – Sales Engineering starting June 2021 in our Franklin, TN location. What do you get to do in this position?

The purpose of this sales focused program, is to accelerate learning and placement of early career new hires into our Services Sales organization. Career development is at the heart of this program and participants will have countless opportunities for networking and coaching via direct leadership.

This 36-month program based in the Schneider Electric Nashville Hub in Franklin, TN and consists of a 8-9 week holistic onboarding experience including sales and technical training to prepare you for your three developmental rotations as a part of Power Services Inside Sales and Secure Power Services Inside Sales. Schneider Electric considers services a key growth area for our overall business while driving us into the future with digital services including remote diagnostics and predictive maintenance to reduce costs while rapidly changing the way we sell products.

Upon successful completion of training, to provide you with a well-rounded experience of the services commercial approach, you will be placed in three rotations in the Nashville Hub for 34-36 months. You will be focused on:

  • Identifying, upselling and positioning recurring services
  • Recommending and quoting services, positioning Schneider Electric into preferred position in market and customer activity, and providing technical knowledge regarding services
  • After the program, career opportunities within inside & outside sales as well as customer project roles are available throughout the United States.

This job might be for you if:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Preferably in Engineering, Construction Management, Sales or Business majors
  • Technical Aptitude and commitment to learn about Services, Energy Management
  • Strong communication, facilitation, time management, organizational and relationship building skills needed
  • Internship experience preferred
  • Candidates must be mobile and willing to relocate for both the program duration and post-program role assignment.
