Mechanical and Physical Testing Measurement Science is a key capability in driving R&D excellence for P&G’s Pampers Diapers and Wipes! Mechanical and Physical Testing is an essential capability for elucidating technical relationships between material properties and product performance. This role is seeking a highly motivated individual who will be responsible for designing, developing, executing, and leading Mechanical and Physical Testing Measurement capability for Pampers Diapers and Wipes. This role requires strong knowledge of Tensile Testing, Material Science and Engineering and related testing software. Broad knowledge and integration of Chemistry, Physics, Material Science and Engineering are fundamental to this role. In this role, you will be required to lead Mechanical and Physical Testing and work across multi-function teams to merge capability for maximization of R&D business needs. Lastly, this role has the potential for professional development and technical leadership.
* Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Physics, Engineer (Polymer, Material Science, Biomedical, Mechanical) or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
* Experience in Mechanical/Tensile Testing and Software (operation and programming) of materials.
* Ability to thoroughly understand customer technical requirements, specifications and needs.
* Must demonstrate ability to exercise sound judgement to solve problems, make recommendations, and strong technical documentation skills.
* Strong ability to coach from Researchers.
* Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
* Strong collaboration skills with multi-function R&D partners.
* Expertise in MATLAB, R or Python Coding, Statistics, Data Visualization, Image Analysis and Measurement Automation are a plus.
