The Department Leader will concentrate their efforts on the module’s Reliability Systems and Department’s Direction Setting and own the department’s capability development plan. In this capacity the Department Leader will be responsible for technical growth and development of leadership/organizational/electrical/mechanical skills. It is the responsibility of this Department Leader to nurture and maintain mutually beneficial relations with the other Procter and Gamble paper plants, Cincinnati resources. It is the responsibility of the Department leader to influence and lead technical resources to address reliability issues that cause equipment downtime and lost production. This person should have a demonstrated track record of successful problem solving and being a technical coach and an effective use of systems to drive out losses. Leader will facilitate root cause problem-solving efforts across the converting module.
Education:
Bachelor or Master’s degree in: Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Computer, Electrical Engineering (or other related degree and/or work-related experience).
Qualifications:
* 6+ years manufacturing experience -Proven record of discipline, sense of urgency and holding others accountable. Building and maintaining a High Performing Organization -Demonstrates using the accountability model.
* Ability to work with & influence across multiple boundaries (engineering, suppliers, operations, & R&D).
* Demonstrated track record for problem solving, work process execution strategies, and solutions to drive standardization.
* 5-10% travel can be expected. Most travel will be to the six 6 US sites and Cincinnati.
* Knowledge of the paper making process or converting technologies preferred
