We have over 2,500 vendors in our network including major ocean carriers such as Hapag Lloyd and Hamburg Sud; air cargo providers like Air France, LAN Cargo, Swissport, Air General, and Total Air; and hundreds of terminals and CFS stations. Over 1,000 of these vendors release the cargo within an hour after receiving the “Payment Approval” alert from PayCargo. All other vendors release cargo no later than the next morning.

Job Summary:
The Software Quality Assurance Tester will conduct software testing to resolve functional issues, identify bugs, and ensure that company standards and guidelines are being followed. This position is in the PayCargo Technology Team and requires strong attention to detail throughout all aspects of the software lifecycle including understanding the product need and expected outcomes, testing all software product deliverables and preventing software regression bugs from being released in the final product.
The Software Quality Assurance Tester
• Works closely with QA team leaders and software engineers to enable an efficient and reliable QA pipeline.
• Provides timely, efficient and accurate testing reports in sync with weekly development sprints and product releases.
• Records defect details, performs test runs, and maintains test cases.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Front-end testing focuses on the product’s user interface.
Back-end API testing exercises the business logic, database structure, and other parts of the application that are not directly visible to users.
Writing, documenting, and maintaining test cases to ensure that every application and user path is exercised.
Integration testing including the manner in which this application interacts with other systems.
Accessibility testing to make sure that the application is usable by people with disabilities like hearing, color blindness, old age and other disadvantaged groups.

Experience and Education:
2 years of experience in a QA testing function.
Associates Degree or field-related certification.
Financial services background a plus.
Side projects that show interest and passion in other fields.
