As a sales representative at Motown Group, an applicant will be stepping into a role with immediate availability for training open to them. We are not looking for someone who has years and years of experience, and we prefer the person who is coming in with minimal experience to manage new client acquisitions for our Fortune 500 clients. We will train someone into this role before they deal with accounts on their own.
In this role, an applicant will be stepping into a role that already has established leads and customers available to them. There will be no cold calling, no door to door sales, or retail sales. This position deals with business customers exclusively. In this role we will be presenting our clients’ products and services to their customers; with the goal in mind to upsell their existing account or to recontract their account to better suit their needs.
Basic responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Making presentations to boards, presidents, and small business owners in Metro Detroit
- Filling out paperwork to set up and finalize any accounts and sales that are processed
- Answering all and any questions that a business may have during a presentation
