The Finance Development Program (FDP) is a new full-time 24-month program designed specifically for recent college graduates interested in a finance career with a leading government contractor. This program will prepare and develop future generations of business leaders within the accounting and finance organization. It is an entry level, highly visible program designed to develop talent in the finance organization at Leonardo DRS.
Participants will develop critical financial analysis and technical skills through rotational assignments in Leonardo DRS business units, through in-depth training and ongoing coaching and feedback. FDP candidates will participate in three 8-month rotations focusing on, Pricing/Proposal Development, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Business Operations. Each rotation will provide an excellent learning experience and an opportunity for FDP participants to grow their business acumen and technical knowledge to drive incremental value and change.
These rotational assignments will be supplemented by various internal and external training opportunities over the course of the 24-month program. Training courses provide overviews of the various functions within Leonardo DRS and follow a robust and interactive curriculum which helps FDP participants develop key competencies such as problem-solving/analysis, program finance and cost accounting skills, business knowledge, teamwork and leadership.
Upon completion of the two-year rotation period, Finance Development Program graduates will assume finance professional positions throughout the company.
