Growing divorce and marital law firm seeks Associate Attorney for West Palm Beach Branch office.

Attorney must be licensed to practice law in Florida and have 5+ years’ experience in marital and family law matters, including divorce, paternity, modification with courtroom and trial experience.

This law firm represents clients throughout South Florida, including Miami-Dade County, Palm Beach, and Broward County.

Candidates must be willing to step in and immediately contribute to the practice, must be extremely detail oriented, and must know Florida civil procedure, family law and evidence rules.

Candidates will need a positive mindset and be hard-working, self-motivated, demonstrate a professional demeanor and a passion for the practice of family law.

Skills:

Must be an active member and in good standing with The Florida Bar

Must be able to conduct legal research to properly advise clients, develop litigation strategies, gather evidence to support claims, prepare legal documents

Must be able to prepare case file documents and binders for upcoming court dates

Must be able to work with the legal team to compile comprehensive trial briefs

Must be able to review discovery documents and define the best course of action

Must be able to attend all pretrial hearings on behalf of clients and advise clients following each hearing about the best strategies

Must be able to analyze the probable outcomes of cases, using knowledge of legal precedents.

Must be able to advise clients about appropriate behavior for hearings, depositions, mediations and trials

Work Hours Available: 8:30am to 5:30pm **Initial remote location. Travel between West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale office may be required**

Salary Range: TBD based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $71,000.00 per year
