Job Description
This position is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate or young professional to gain substantive, hands-on experience in the dynamic fields of complex civil and criminal financial litigation. Analysts immediately join case teams and closely collaborate with the firm’s lawyers, enjoying levels of responsibility and client contact surpassing what other firms offer. Analysts also support knowledge management, global business development and strategic collaboration to drive the firm’s practice forward. Analysts will work with analysts, lawyers and other professionals across all Kobre & Kim office locations.
Kobre & Kim is accepting applications for positions based in our São Paulo, Brazil office. Kobre & Kim is hiring on a rolling basis with a flexible start date between August 2021 – January 2022. All Analysts have opportunities for advancement after their first year. Compensation is highly competitive with top-tier technology, finance and consulting firms.
Job Qualifications
Analysts are typically top-ranked graduates from prestigious colleges and universities. Candidates should possess a four-year college degree, a strong academic background, and excellent teamwork, communication, organizational, creative and anticipatory thinking skills. Ability to communicate effectively in English and Portuguese in-person and through technology resources is required. Candidates should also demonstrate a willingness and ability to perform tasks in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. Applications are encouraged from self-starting, highly-motivated individuals displaying an interest in exploring the legal industry and pursuing a career in law. Candidates with an LL.M. degree are eligible to apply but should be advised that the Analyst role targets those who do not yet have advanced legal degrees or trainings. In addition to native fluency in Portuguese, all hired Analysts must have native or near native fluency in English (written and verbal). Additional language skills — particularly Arabic, German, Hebrew, Korean, Russian, Spanish — are not required but a plus. São Paulo Analysts must be permanently authorized to work in Brazil and are expected to remain with the firm for at least two years in the São Paulo office. All Analysts have opportunities for advancement after their first year. Compensation is highly competitive.
