To continue the growth, GigaNetworks is seeking to fill Sales Engineering position which will be located in the Miami area.
The Sales Engineer needs to be a self-starter with a desire to learn about the industry while working closely with our CTO on customer-facing projects as well as becoming certified in relevant industry technologies, like firewalls, cloud, and analytics. The training certifications will be a primary part of the day and will require self-study and on-line courses. These industry-valuable certifications are typically expensive and time-consuming to achieve, and this internship will allow you to become industry certified and get paid for doing so. Once Sales Engineers are trained, they become subject matter experts and our Sales Engineering team is focused on solving customer problems through creative solutions.
Sales engineers are expected to understand the basics of internet security, networking and routing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with firewalls and proxy devices, knowing how these items fit within the overall architecture of a network.
