The Active / Adult / Performance Nutrition Sales Manager is responsible for building a pipeline of sustainable customers and profitable growth in North America. To achieve this, the incumbent shall partner with colleagues in a variety of functions such as technical sales support, marketing, product management, and R&D to execute sales strategies and new value propositions while identifying and delivering key customer needs for our ingredients and services.
What We Ask
Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelors of Chemistry, Nutrition Science or a Registered Dietitian, sales, marketing
- 3 to 5 years of dietary supplement technical sales
- 3 to 5 years of dietary supplement bench experience in applications or R&D
- Must possess a progressive track record in building territory with Brand owners, private label, and 3rd party manufacturing

The Sales Manager will identify new business opportunities with existing and new accounts, and grow the business by promoting our functional ingredient portfolio (consisting of caseinates, milk, and whey proteins) and our concept solutions for a good gut feeling, for good nights, and natural immune support in the dietary supplement market.
To be successful, the incumbent must demonstrate the ability to serve the customer as a total solutions provider and sell new ideas using value-based selling techniques; execute a strategic volume plan and go to market strategy; excel at establishing and nurturing internal partnerships with Technical Sales Services, Marketing, R&D and Product Management along; build quick rapport and maintain lasting relationships with external customers; enjoy networking through LinkedIn and F2F events; possess knowledge of dairy/whey proteins; ability work under pressure with ambiguity and competing deadlines; solving Customer issues/rejections; possess excellent verbal, written and presentation skills in English; able to travel up to 70%; comply with all Safety and Compass policies; and be ambitious, highly energetic, engaged and curious to learn, grow and win in the market.
