This opportunity provides an Analyst a leading role assisting in development underwriting, market research and asset management. The selected candidate will be immersed in all aspects of residential and commercial real estate investment. Areas include, market intelligence and analysis, development and portfolio underwriting/ due diligence, transaction execution, and portfolio management. This position will have a strong emphasis on analytics, financial modeling, operational compliance and market research.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Perform in-depth competition, industry and market research
Assist with and perform property level financial models and/or underwriting related to acquisition through stabilization
Evaluate site acquisition opportunities
Evaluate disposition opportunities
Participate in the deployment of capital via acquisition identification and adhering to investment guidelines and underwriting standards
Perform compliance work on deployment execution
Track macroeconomic and market specific performance indicators within our existing and potential markets
Assist in preparation of materials and presentations to the investment committee, current and/or potential investors or lenders.
Assist partners with time-sensitive projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Education: Completed bachelor’s degree with focus in Finance, Real Estate, or Business Management. Advanced degrees or certifications a plus but not required (MBA, JD, CFA or CAIA) Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience as an analyst in an investment, finance, or real estate related role. Positions such as but not limited to; Asset Manager, Residential Appraiser, Mortgage Sales/Underwriting, Financial Analyst, and Jr Analyst.
Mastery of Excel and an ability to create in-depth financial analyses via modeling.
Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications including Word and PowerPoint
Strong grasp of financial principles and concepts critical to SFRH underwriting (NOI, cap rates, IRR, NPV, ROI, ROC, Yields, etc.)
Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information to drive informed strategic output
Account Management via Quickbooks
Ability to effectively prepare presentations and marketing materials for projects
Highly-developed verbal and written-communication skills
Strong judgement and decision making skills
Demonstrate organizational skills and proven ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
Outstanding interpersonal skills; team-oriented
Ability to perform advanced mathematical calculations
Comfort and familiarity with basic finance and accounting theory
Ability to maintain confidentiality
