Media and Production Specialist The Media and Production Specialist is a year-round position, however, given the seasonal nature of the camping industry the individual will work in two areas: 1. Creating high-quality video content for use in live services and for marketing. 2. Operation/oversight of the production equipment and team for live services and events. Requirements ● Strong commitment to Jesus and desire to share his gospel with others ● Loves working with young people ● Commitment to excellence and attention to detail ● Self -motivated and positive attitude ● Known as a creative individual ● Motivated to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively ● Ability to manage projects to completion ● Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks ● Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner ● Loves working with people ● Willingness to adjust hours to accommodate the needs of the organization while maintaining personal growth and rest Duties and responsibilities ● Work with the Marketing Director to create digital content for marketing and promotion, examples include live services, staff recruitment videos, testimonial videos, highlight videos, training videos, music videos, as well as object lessons for services. ● Create, maintain, and back up a logical archive of digital content ● Manage and maintain video equipment (cameras, lighting, sound, etc) ● Set up and operate sound equipment for weekend retreats and events ● Implement live streaming of services and events ● Train and lead the live service production team during the summer ● Work with guest groups, musicians, and speakers, to make sure needs are met for live service events. Strong emphasis on hospitality ● Other roles as needed (all of us at camp jump in and help people in other departments) Qualifications ● Proficient working with Adobe workflow for video production (Premiere, After Effects, and Audition) ● Proficient working with Photoshop and Lightroom ● Basic graphic design experience ● Understanding of photography and videography equipment ● Able to operate and maintain drone equipment ● Understanding and ability to operate live service production equipment (Sound/Lighting/Projection/live streaming) ● Maintain and manage live service production equipment Educational Preferred degree in Communications with an emphasis in the area of video production. Other training in similar areas will be considered
