Overview
The Team Leader program is designed to
provide opportunities for targeted skill and knowledge development. Team
Leaders are agent’s team members who are seeking development to become
competitive for future job opportunities or roles. While many Team Leaders
strive to one day run their own State Farm® Agent office, others may
want development for additional responsibilities or opportunities within their
current agent’s office.
As a Team
Leader, you will…

Learn more about State Farm® history and mission.

Better understand the realities of
doing business as a State Farm agent. -
Exposure to the career of a State
Farm Agent to learn how an agent’s office operates. -
Mentorship/Development experience
(one-on-one with an engaged agent). -
Connect with other agents’ team
members through study groups and other learning experiences -
Set development goals.

Track and share your progress and
success. -
Generate excitement in the office.

Develop the skills and competencies
that may make candidates more competitive for the Agency Opportunity
Responsibilities

Hold the team accountable
for developing leads and scheduling appointments -
Collaborate with team
members identifying customer needs, and marketing appropriate products and
services -
Lead a customer-focused, needs-based
review process to educate customers about insurance options -
Maintain a strong work
ethic with a total commitment to team success each and every day.
