BCRI is on a mission to be Maryland’s premier comprehensive behavioral health crisis response system of care. We’re looking for a highly skilled Executive Director to help us fulfill this important undertaking.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director (ED) will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for BCRI’s staff, programs, expansion, and execution in pursuit of its mission. This seasoned leader will not only understand BCRI’s behavioral health crisis response system of care core programs, operations, and business plans, but also the current trends impacting the viability of long-term delivery of these services to the communities served. Key to this understanding is proven experience in developing and implementing strategic funding plans aimed at long-term organizational sustainability. Prior experience leading and identifying qualified staff is essential, and established relationships with local community groups a plus. Above all, he / she will be comfortable in a leadership role that demands clear communication, decisiveness, and effective collaboration across diverse groups of stakeholders.
