The ideal candidate is self-driven, and excited to be an active participate in a small team bringing a new medical imaging system to clinical practice. The engineer will work on developing electronics, image processing algorithms, software, and embedded system firmware in a fluid startup environment where the candidate will be involved in all aspects of product development. The candidate should have strong independent troubleshooting ability and demonstrated exceptional proficiency in translating a design into practice, building and debugging prototypes, and product realization.
Qualifications:
1. BS, MS, PhD
2. Experience in embedded program development using C/C++
3. Proficiency in Python
4. Ability to interpret datasheets for schematic design and implementation
5. Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following: SPI, IC2 or UART
6. Proficiency with electronic lab equipment ( oscilloscope, multi-meter, logic analyzer)
7. Proficiency with Matlab ( image processing / parallel processing )
8. Proficiency in digital image processing / digital filters
9. Experience in schematic capture, PCB layout
Preferred:
1. Proficiency in optical design
2. CUDA programming experience (parallel processing on NVIDIA GPU)
3. Parallel programming experience ( multi-threading – WINUI )
4. AI/ML proficiency in image processing
5. FPGA programming experience
6. High resolution DAQ design experience
7. Analog design experience
8. Experience with Zemax / Ansys Optic Studio
Salary range will be commensurate with experience.
