I. Position Summary:
The Aging Brain Center (ABC) based at Marcus Institute for Aging Research, a Harvard Medical School affiliate, is looking for a highly motivated individual to support their dynamic research team. Our research is focus on cognitive disorders of aging, including delirium and dementia (https://www.deliriumcentral.org/,). This position is an ideal learning opportunity for anyone who plans to attend graduate or medical school in the future. The Research Assistant will work with the research team under the direction of the center’s leadership (Dr. Sharon Inouye, https://www.marcusinstituteforaging.org/who-we-are/profiles/sharon-k-inouye-md-mph). The Research Assistant will play a critical role in the conduct of multi-site studies aimed to improving the quality of life of older adults and their families. III. Position Responsibilities: Must have good problem-solving skills and knowledge of new technologies.
- Complete administrative study related tasks
- Complete special projects as assigned by the study leadership
- Support the preparation of study protocols and materials

IV. Qualifications
- College degree (4 years)
- Ability to work on multiple projects, prioritize tasks, develop work flow, and meet study deadlines; must have ability to work effectively with an interdisciplinary team
- Good problem-solving, trouble shooting skills and knowledge of new technologies and website maintenance
- Able to maintain and sustain confidentiality at all times.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Adaptable to competing deadlines and changes in priorities.
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of REDCap is a plus
- Must demonstrate respect and professionalism regarding individual needs, and a working knowledge of HIPAA Protected Health Information regulations.
