Motivated by the demand to discover new sources of funding, nonprofit organizations are constantly seeking assistance to identify these sources and undertake fundraising projects. The University of Miami Nonprofit Fundraising Certificate Program explores ways to achieve fundraising success for an existing organization, or when establishing a new nonprofit entity. Students will enhance their communication and negotiation skills, learn to build successful relationships with donors, and discover ways to effectively design, execute, and evaluate a fundraising campaign. They will also gain an understanding of board governance and relations, and heighten their ability to analyze programming, financing, and community relations in the nonprofit environment.
